Q: How can I view the status of my order?
A: Go to the Customer Service, Account Information page. This page lists all your orders. Click the date of the order whose status you wish to view.


Q: What are your shipping costs?
A: You can view an estimate of shipping costs by viewing your cart and entering your zip code. However, final shipping costs will be displayed on the Invoice you see before confirming your order.


Q: How can I lower my shipping cost?
A: We charge the actual shipping plus $1.00 handling to cover the cost of the box and packing materials ($2.00 handling for international packages). The calculation is usually accurate, but sometimes may be off if you are buying many items. We will never increase the amount after you place your order. If we notice a significant overcharge, we will refund the difference. If you are buying 3 or more items, we recommend that you write to us at DistinctiveUmbrellas@yahoo.com. We will be happy to check to see if we can offer you a lower shipping price.

To minimize your shipping cost we offer a number of shipping options from the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) and from United Parcel Service (UPS). Generally, the USPS is cheaper for one to two umbrellas and UPS is cheaper for three or more. We encourage you to check for the cheapest rate, or write to us and we will check. Be sure to include the item(s) you want to buy and your zip code.
